Privacy

What Calsift keeps about you, who else sees it, and how to delete it.

What we keep

  • Your email address and a hashed password.
  • The interests you write down, your timezone and the calendars you follow.
  • The score and reason Calsift gave each event for you, and a log of the emails we sent you.
  • A session cookie while you are logged in and a security (CSRF) cookie. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Who else sees it

OpenRouter (AI scoring)
To score events, the text of your interests and the event descriptions are sent to a language model through OpenRouter. Your email address is not sent. Our OpenRouter account does not allow providers to train on this data.
Amazon SES (email)
Delivers our emails, so it receives your email address and the content of each message.
Sentry (error reports)
When something breaks, a technical report of the error is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. It is set up not to include your email address, IP address or cookies.

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Deleting your account

Go to Settings, then Account, and choose “Delete my account”. After you confirm with your email address, your account is removed at once: your profile, interests, scores, followed calendars and notification history are deleted, not hidden.

We keep anonymous usage totals, such as AI costs and email delivery counts, with nothing that links them to you.
